I/O Shield

The back panel I/O shield for the board must meet specific dimension and material
requirements. Systems based on this board need the back panel I/O shield to pass
certification testing. Figure 16 shows the I/O shield. In order to provide the required
dimensions, the figure shows only the metal shield; the plastic face plate is not shown.
Dimensions are given in millimeters. The figure indicates the position of each cutout.
Additional design considerations for I/O shields relative to chassis requirements are
described in the ATX specification.
