Terminal connections

To connect the speakers to the
MCX-CA15
CAUTIONS
Complete these connections before
connecting to a live power source.
Do not let the bare speaker wires touch
each other or any metal part of these
units. This could damage these units
and/or the speakers.
Use magnetically shielded speakers. If
this type of speaker still creates
interference with the monitor, place the
speakers away from the monitor.
Be sure to connect the left channel (L),
right channel (R), "+" (white) and "–"
(black) properly. If the connections are
faulty, no sound will be heard from the
speakers, and if the polarity of the
speaker connections is incorrect, the
sound will be unnatural and lack bass.

Remove approximately 6 mm (1/4") of
insulation from the end of each speaker
cable.

Twist the exposed wires of the cable
together to prevent short circuits.

Loosen the terminal using a
screwdriver.

MAKING IN-WALL CONNECTIONS

Insert one bare wire into the hole of
each terminal.

Tighten the terminal to secure the wire.
Black: positive ( + )
White: negative ( – )
To connect DC power cables

Remove approximately 6 mm (1/4") of
insulation from the end of each supplied
DC power cable.

Twist the exposed wires of the cable
together to prevent short circuits.

Loosen the terminal using a
screwdriver.

Insert one bare wire into the hole of
each terminal.
5
Tighten the terminal to secure the wire.
