Power cleaning

If the nozzles are still clogged after performing head
cleaning a few times, perform power cleaning.
A
Press the button to enter the CLEANING
menu.
B
Select POWER CLEANING, and then press the
button to execute power cleaning.
PLEASE WAIT appears on the LCD panel. It
takes about four minutes to complete power
cleaning. (However, if the cleaning was done by
the AUTO NOZZLE CHECK function of printer, it
takes four minutes or more.)
Caution:

❏ Power cleaning process consumes
more ink than normal cleaning.
❏ If the nozzles are still clogged after
performing the power cleaning, turn
off the printer and leave it overnight
or longer, so that the ink may dissolve.
If the nozzles are still clogged, contact
your Epson dealer.

Print a nozzle check pattern to see if there are
any missing dots.

White ink refresh

Follow the steps below to execute white ink refresh in
the following situations.
❏ When white ink print results are uneven (density
is not uniform).
❏ When you have not used the printer for a long
time when AUTO WT INK REFRESH is set to OFF.

Make sure the LCD panel display shows READY
state, then press the
Menu mode.

Press the /
MAINTENANCE, and then press the
C
Press the /
and then press the
D
Press the /
REFRESH, and then press the
E
Press the button.
White ink refresh starts when the message
PLEASE WAIT is displayed on the LCD panel. It
takes about three to four minutes to finish.
However, if the cleaning was performed by the
printer's AUTO NOZZLE CHECK function, it
takes four minutes or more.
