Shake the ink cartridge back and forth
horizontally as shown in the illustration in five
centimeter movements, over 10 times.
When the warning message "WT INK MAINT.
REQUIRED" is displayed on the LCD panel,
shake the white ink cartridge with the same
way but about 100 times within about 30 seconds.
Caution:

Do not touch the green chip on the side of
the cartridge. Doing so may prevent
normal operation and printing.

Hold the white ink cartridge with the arrow
mark facing up and pointing to the rear of the
printer, and then insert it into the slot as far as
it will go until it clicks.
