HAFM Management Applications Installation

This section describes the procedures required to install the HAFM software on
the HP notebook PC.

Installing the HAFM Software

Install the HAFM software on the HP notebook PC by completing the following
steps:
1. Insert the HAFM Applications CD into the CD-ROM drive and run the

Iomega QuikSync

Included in the HAFM application installation is the Iomega QuikSync
application, which is used to automatically back up all HAFM data to a Zip drive.
Because this application is installed and configured automatically, no additional
configuration is necessary.
When the entire HAFM server configuration procedure is complete:
1. Power off the PC.
2. Replace the internal CD-ROM drive with an internal Zip drive and blank disk
