6.3.11 Image Shift

The Image Shifting panel allows you to shift the bitmap on the paper.
Image shift can take the following values:
•
Off – apply no shifting.
•
Use printer settings – the bitmap is positioned according to the image
shift values entered at the copier.
•
Use driver settings – the bitmap is positioned according to the values
entered in this panel.
"Right" moves bitmaps to the right. "Bottom" moves bitmaps down. For
movement to the left or up, enter values with negative sign.
To shift front and back such that they coincide (match if you hold the paper
against the light), uncheck Shift Front/Back separately. Alternatively, for
left binding, enter the "Right (Back side)" value with the opposite sign of
the front value, or, for top binding, enter the "Bottom (Back side)" value
with the opposite sign of the front value.
