Mac OS 9 Printing
User Authentication
User authentication encloses your user name and password with your job.
This identification will be used to determine your printing rights.
User Authentication can use the Mac OS Keychain to store your password
for the username by which you authenticate towards the bizhub PRO 950.
Mac OS Keychain protects your passwords by encryption and is usually
protected by a password itself. In order to allow an application to use your
password, you must enter your Keychain password and grant the
application the requested access.
User Authentication without Keychain
To use User Authentication without the Keychain, perform the following
steps:
Select File » Print, then select the Workflow panel.
Check User name, then click into the text field below User Name.
Enter your username. While your input is blank, you can't enter your
password.
