This chapter provides detailed information for preparing the library location.
After the library is unpacked it needs to acclimate for 8 hours before the power is

Keep original packaging! The StorageLibrary T40 must only be shipped in

original packaging in order to keep warranty.

Finding a Location for the StorageLibrary T40

The StorageLibrary T40 must be positioned in a stable location
The StorageLibrary T40 is designed to operate in a horizontal position. Do not attempt to operate
the StorageLibrary T40 in any other position than horizontally
Make sure a power source is available
Route any cable to avoid walking on them or pinching them with items placed on or against them.
Pay particular attention to the cord at the wall receptacle, and the point where the cord exits from
the StorageLibrary T40
Make sure that object will not fall and liquids will not spill into the StorageLibrary T40's chassis
openings
Make sure the airflow around the front and back of the StorageLibrary T40 is not obstructed
Make sure there is a minimum of 60cm free space in front of the unit to allow the operator to
safely remove the magazines
Make sure the display and operator controls can easily be accessed
Make sure the StorageLibrary T40 is away from the floor and in a clean environment with
temperatures within specifications. See
