Creating a new report

Dashboards display a top-level management view of precompiled data in a
graphical and color-rich format. Dashboards also provide click-through features
so that you can drill down and view the underlying IT Analytics reports in detail.
To view dashboard reports

In the Symantec Management Console, on the Home menu, click IT Analytics.

In the left pane, expand the Content folder.

Click Dashboards.

Select a dashboard to view.
Reports provide you with access to various IT Analytics data views. They also
provide you with click-through capabilities to the Symantec Management Console
pages.
To view IT Analytics reports

In the Symantec Management Console, on the Home menu, click IT Analytics.

In the left pane, expand the Content folder.

Click Reports.

Select a report to view.
You can create new SQL Server Reporting Services reports by using the SQL Server
Reporting Services Report Builder. The SSRS Report Builder provides you with
access to the IT Analytics Cubes that let you create the customized reports that
you can distribute.
Report Builder is a client-side application that you can use to create and design
reports. Using Report Builder, you can design the reports that are based on your
data. You can use Report Builder without having to understand the underlying
schema or complex programming languages. For more information on using this

To create a report

In the Symantec Management Console, on the Home menu, click IT Analytics.
