Configuring Authentication for End-User
Enrollment
To set up a Certificate Manager or Registration Manager to authenticate end users
based on a specific criteria, follow these steps:
Step 1. Before You Begin
Step 2. Set Up the Directory for PIN-Based Enrollment (required for PIN-based
enrollment only)
Step 3. Enable the AttributePresentConstraints Policy (required for PIN-based
enrollment only)
Step 4: Add an Authentication Instance
Step 5. Set Up the Enrollment Interface
Step 6. Enable End-Entity Interaction
Step 7. Turn on Automated Notification
Step 8. Test Your Authentication Setup
Step 9. Deliver PINs to End Users (required for PIN-based enrollment only)
