2. Cleaning
Dust and dirt impair performance of any optical equipment. Keep the microfilmer clean at all times.
Film Unit

Wipe clean of dirt the interior of Take-Up and Supply Rooms and the Lens.
After a roll of film has been removed from the Unit, always close the Doors in position and face the Lens
downward for storage.
Machine

Use synthetic detergent or alcohol to remove dirt off the Copy Board.
