RECORDING DOCUMENT MARK

■ RECORDING DOCUMENT MARK
A document mark can be generated on each image or frame of a roll of microfilm for indexing purposes. It is
recorded on the A-ch side (bottom side) of a roll by the following procedure.
■ Recording Levels:
■ Select Document Mark size
❑ Single-Level Document Mark size (See page 24)
❑ Dual-Level Document Mark size (See page 24)
■ Select Document Mark Positioning
The position of the 1.2 mm width mark in single level recording can be only varied. (See page 26)
Single-Level Recording

Press the Document Mark Level Select Key as many
times as it is required to select the desired recording
level.
Each time the Key is pressed, the recording level is
selected in the following sequence:
The lit indicator represents the recording level currently
selected.
Item mark
Batch mark
Block mark

Press the Shutter Button each time a new document is
placed on the Copy Board, and the document mark is
generated under the image of the document placed on
the roll of film.
No document mark is recorded.
A document mark corresponding to the item is
recorded.
A large document mark is generated for a batch
document and a small mark for an item
document.
A large mark is generated for a block document,
a medium mark for a batch document, and a
small mark for an item document.
