Connecting to F-Secure Policy Manager and
Importing a Policy File Manually

You can also access the local system log by clicking
on the Advanced Centralized Management Settings page.
If you need to initialize a connection from the local host to the F-Secure
Policy Manager Server, you can do it as follows:
1. Go to the Central Management page, where you can see the date
and time of last connection to the Policy Manager Server.
2. Click

to initiate a new connection.
If you need to import a new policy file manually to a host, you first have to
export a host specific policy from the F-Secure Policy Manager Console
and then import it to the host. It is done as follows:
In F-Secure Policy Manager Console
1. Select the host in the Policy Domains tab.
2. Right-click on the selected host and select Export Host Policy File
from the context menu that opens.
3. Save the host's policy file on some transfer media, for example on a
diskette.
In the F-Secure Client Security Local User Interface
1. Click
Import policy
manually....
2. In the window that opens browse to find the Policy.bpf file you want to
import to the host.
