5. Insallaon
5.1. Installing the Sofware
To create a conguraon for the CANbridge NT, the CAN-Gateway Conguraor running on a Windows system
and the Ixxat VCI driver are needed.

The VCI driver is constantly improved and expanded! Check if a newer version is available on
www.ixxat.com/driver-windows.

1. Install the latest VCI driver on a Windows computer (see Insallaon Guide VCI Driver).
2. Download the CAN-Gateway Confguraor CANbridge NT & CAN@net NT 100/200/420 package from the
product support pages on www.ixxat.com/support-bridges-gateways.
3. Start the Ixxat CanGWcong Setup.
• Insallaon wizard starts auomacally.
4. Follow the insrucons in insallaon program.
• By default the package is stored in C:\Program Files\HMS\Ixxat CAN-Gateway Confguraor V6.
• The examples for (LUAand conguraon) are stored in C:\Users\Public\Documents\HMS\Ixxat CAN-
Gateway Confguraor\Examples.
5. Check the rmware version in C:\Users\Public\Documents\HMS\Ixxat CAN-Gateway
Confguraor\Examples\frmware and check if a newer rmware version is available on
www.ixxat.com/support-bridges-gateways.
