OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. The cable reel should be securely mounted to floor or ceiling with appropriate fixings (not supplied).
When mounting ensure that the swivel angle of the reel is not restricted.
2. Connect the cable to a 230V mains supply, the Power LED will illuminate.
3. Pull out enough cable as required. When the cable is extracted a clicking sound will be heard. Lightly
release the tension on the cable, the cable will then be held in position without retraction.
4. After use, pull the cable lightly to release the clamp and allow the cable to retract.
CAUTION
1. The cable reel should be kept dry and not be mounted outdoors.
2. Do not exceed the maximum specified load of 2.5 kW (cable extended) when using the product.
NOTE: The maximum load is reduced when the cable is not fully extended.
3. If the thermal protection device trips allow the cable to cool before attempting to reset the device.
4. If after a long period of use the cable cannot be completely retracted, it should be extended to its full
length to re-tension the spring.
