Rigid LATCH/UAS is ONLY used to stabilize the Booster Seat on the vehicle seat. The
vehicle Lap/Shoulder Belt is required to secure the child in the Booster Seat.
1. Select a seat location allowed by your
vehicle manufacturer that is equipped
with a Lap/Shoulder Belt system.
2. Locate the vehicle lower anchors or the
symbols indicating their location (see
pg. 17).
For center seat installations, if the
vehicle lower anchors are not exactly 11
inches (28 cm) apart (see pg. 17), Rigid
LATCH/UAS cannot be used.
If Rigid LATCH/UAS
is unusable, place the
Booster Seat on the
vehicle seat, ensuring
that the Backrest is in
full contact with the
vehicle seat back and
does not interfere with
the vehicle's Headrest, then proceed to
"Adjusting the Seat for Your Child" on
page 27, otherwise continue with step 3.
Installing the Solution G2 Booster Seat
3. Place the booster on its side.
4. Squeeze the gray
Adjustment Handle
on the bottom of
the Booster Base
and pull the Rigid
LATCH/UAS
Connectors out until
they stop.
5. Rotate the Rigid
LATCH/UAS
Connectors 180° as
shown.
