You can use the Ewon Edge for :
• Remotely access Ethernet devices via the Ewon cloud infrastructure.
• Collect PLC data using Modbus, IOSTCP, or EthIP protocols and send data to AWS or Azure cloud platforms
through embedded MQTT connector.

The Ewon Edge should not be used as a pure Ethernet switch as short interruptions of the switch
interface need to be taken into consideration.
