First Time Operation
To get acquainted with the Type 82 for the first time,
the following operating procedure is suggested:
1, Set the internal CHOP RATE slide switch |see Fig. 2-1)
to the 100 KC position,
2. Insert the Type 82 into a Type 580-Series Oscilloscope,
tighten the Securing Rod, and turn the power on.
3. Allow about 2 to 3 minutes warm-up time and free run
the ascillascope sweep at |
millisec/cm.
4, Set the Type 82 front-panel controls [both channels) as
follows:
