3.4 Mount RF (Right Front), RM (Right Middle) & RR (Right Rear) brackets to the underbody of
the vehicle/Vehicle Sill Panel using supplied hardware (nuts, bolts and washers).
IMPORTANT
Clearview recommend a straight-edge tool to be used when mounting the top mounting brackets.
This provides a guide to keeping them level and straight alongside the vehicle.
Ensure the straight-edge tool is aligned with the flat edge on the mounting brackets only, not
touching the body and/or tyres etc*
3.5 Adjust hardware accordingly where required so all top mounting brackets remain level and
straight along the vehicle, this is to ensure the boards can move freely and work as they should.
Once top brackets are all straight and level, all fixings for the top mounting bracket only are
to be firmly secured and tightened.
REPEAT Steps 3.1 to 3.4 when mounting the LF (Left Front), LM (Left Middle) & LR (Left Rear)
Top Mounting Brackets to the Left Hand Side of the vehicle.
3.5 Reassemble the Lower Swivel Idler Brackets (that were removed in Step 3.3 using the M8
nuts and bolts) to the Top Mounting Brackets on both the RH and LH sides.
Do not tighten fully, as you may need to adjust the position of these brackets later in Step 5.
