Before You Start IMPORTANT Clearview recommends installation of the Power Boards to be performed by a professional as installation will require vehicle trim removal, wire routing and electrical work. The installation should take approximately 3 hours. WARNING CAUTION Read through the fitting instructions before installation of Clearview Accessories.
Fitting Instructions Step 1 Installation of wiring Sensor Wire Harness Positive Wire Motor Wire Harness Negative Wire Passenger (left) side Door Harness motor wiring Connector for RM motor Passenger (right) side motor wiring 1.1 Remove LHS Passenger interior trim underneath glovebox and unplug wiring connected to the trim.

Fitting Instructions 1.3 Remove the fuse from the positive (red) wire supplied and connect the wire to the vehicle battery positive terminal. Ensure that the connection is secure. 1.4 Feed the positive wire through the vehicle firewall into the passenger (left) side of the vehicle cabin. A plastic wire feeder may be required for this step and subsequent steps.

Fitting Instructions 1.7 Route RF (Right Front) & RR (Right Rear) door sensor wires along the sill channel to each connector behind B pillar and C pillar. REPEAT above steps for LF (Left Front) and LR (Left Rear) door sensor wires. 1.8 Connect each door sensor to the connectors.

Fitting Instructions Step 2 Installing control unit and wiring 2.1 Mount control unit in the passenger kick panel area. The control unit should not be placed in the vehicle engine bay, as exposure to heat and moisture may cause damage to the unit.

Fitting Instructions Step 3 Installing mounting brackets to vehicle 3.1 Locate and remove the factory rubber grommets found along the vehicle's LHS (Left Hand Side) sill rail. 3.2 Feed M8 T Bolts through the opening found on the vehicle sill rail, so that the T section is on the inside of the rail and thread is exposed on the outside of the rail.

Fitting Instructions 3.4 Mount RF (Right Front), RM (Right Middle) & RR (Right Rear) brackets to the underbody of the vehicle/Vehicle Sill Panel using supplied hardware (nuts, bolts and washers). 3.5 It is recommended to line up with a straight-edge tool/object to help with mounting the top mounting brackets.

To do this, open vehicle door first so Clearview Power Boards are deployed. Step your foot on the running board and close your vehicle door at the same time, the Clearview Power Board should remain deployed. To reset, open and close your vehicle door again.
