C. CAPACITY & TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
Sizing of the KwiKool System is based on matching capacity to a specific heat load while
maintaining a 72 degrees F temperature. In order to maintain temperatures at 72 degrees F,
the unit must have correctly-sized capacity.
We recommend that the operator not set the tem-
perature set point above or below 72 degrees F,
unless there is excess cooling capacity beyond the
heat load, since this may cause the unit's evapora-
tor coil to freeze up.

le point de consigne de température au-dessus ou
en dessous de 72 degrés F, à moins qu'il n'y ait
une capacité de refroidissement excessive au-delà
de la charge thermique, car cela pourrait provoquer
le gel du serpentin de l'évaporateur de l'unité.
D. POSITIONING OF UNIT
Do not place your KwiKool System in direct sunlight. The unit should be positioned as close
to the space to be conditioned as possible with the Return Air duct directly around the area of
highest load with the front grill fully exposed. For the heat function to work properly, Supply
and Return Air must be in the space being heated. The system works by heating the air that
is recirculating to the system and will raise the overall temperature of the space to the set
point, if properly sized.
Do not block the Return Air duct of the unit since
this will cause a restriction in the airflow and can
cause low performance and/or evaporator coil
freezing.
