9.6. SHUTTING DOWN THE MACHINE

FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS TO TURN
OFF THE MACHINE, OTHERWISE IT MAY CAUSE
MALFUNCTIONS AND DAMAGE TO THE MACHINE.
When finishing the edge banding work, lower the set tempe-
rature to approximately 60°C (140°F) without disconnecting
the air pressure.
Once the device displays the temperature of 60°C (140°F) , it
means that the cooling process is complete, and you can stop
the machine using the red button on the main switch.
10. STATIONARY USE (Optional)
Your portable edge bander PEB Zeroline can be transformed into
a benchtop edge bander by mounting it on the MEB Zeroline
table (optional accessory). Mounting the PEB Zeroline on the
table is as simple as inserting it into place and securing it with
the 3 screws provided. The MEB Zeroline table features support
guides for the board at the entrance and exit; an extendable
rear support guide up to 500 mm, and a removable presser for
edge banding of straight pieces. With it, you can edge band
straight pieces very conveniently and easily, and you can also
edge band small round or shaped pieces on the table.

11. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Fusible: The machine is equipped with a 2A protection fuse (Fig.
2). In case of malfunction, replace the damaged fuse with one
of the same characteristics: Type F fuse, 2A for 230V.
The base on which the tape runs is coated with a non-stick
Teflon coating, making cleaning quick and easy. Never use
metallic or abrasive materials to clean the machine, as it would
damage the non-stick coating. Residues should be removed
as needed. Ensure that the machine is disconnected from the
electrical circuit and has cooled completely before performing
any of the following maintenance tasks.
Tape exit guide and tape guide springs A (Fig. 21): Remove
adhesive residues with a cloth soaked in Netspray.
Silicone rollers B (Fig. 21): Clean them with a cloth soaked in
Netspray.
Exit surface C (Fig. 21): Remove adhesive residues with a
wooden spatula. To keep the machine in optimal condition
and minimize maintenance tasks, use Virutex's silicone-free
anti-adherent CANTSPRAY.
