Warnings and Precautions
Failure to follow the instructions provided may lead to patient or user harm.
All curing lights output high levels of light energy and thermal radiation. Failure to follow the instructions
provided may lead to soft tissue burns, pulpal damage, ocular damage, or patient discomfort.
Failure to follow the instructions provided may lead to the device becoming inoperable and cause delay of
procedure.
Failure to properly use barrier sleeves can expose patients or users to cross contamination and risk of
infection. Never use this device on a patient without a new barrier sleeve.
Failure to properly inspect barrier sleeve for damage may lead to an increased risk of cross-contamination.
Do not activate curing light over soft tissue such as lips, gums, or tongue. Failure to follow this instruction
may lead to soft tissue burns.
Always ensure the provided light shields and proper blue light-filtering safety glasses are utilized during
activation of the curing light. Failure to shield patients or users from direct or reflected blue light energy may

lead to unsafe levels of viewed light energy, which may be harmful to the eyes.
Repeated operation of the device will cause the case temperature to increase. Always allow for a cool-down
period of 5 minutes if the device is operated for longer than 2 minutes repeatedly. Failure to allow for device
cooldown may lead to case temperatures up to 55 °C.
Always test the selected time and composite material combination using the provided test block prior to
utilizing on a patient to verify that the cure time is sufficient to fully cure the material. Failure to test the
combination of cure time and material may lead to an increased risk of uncured material and restoration
failure.
Always inspect the output window, including lens cap and barrier sleeve, for debris that may be blocking
light output. Any debris blocking light output may significantly reduce the effective irradiance of the device
and may lead to restoration failure.
Do not modify this equipment without authorization of the manufacturer.
Inspect power cord prior to use for fraying or breakage.
Examine all contents for damage prior to assembly and use.
Only handle battery while removed from handpiece with clean, dry hands.

Do not submerge handpiece, charger base, or power supply in liquid.
