Slide out caliper (2) from the disk
carefully and remove it.
CAUTION
After reassembly, pull the brake lever
repeatedly and check the correct
functioning of the braking system.
CAUTION
When reassembling, make sure that
brake caliper line is properly secured
with relevant hose guides.

REMOVING THE EXHAUST
MUFFLER
Read page 56 (MAINTENANCE).
Unscrew and remove the screw (8).
Screw (8) driving torque:
10 Nm (1.0 kgm).
Unscrew and remove the screw (9).
Screw (9) driving torque:
10 Nm (1.0 kgm).
Loosen and remove the screw (10)
securing the muffler to the engine.
Screw (10) driving torque:
27 Nm (2.7 kgm).
Loosen and remove the screw (11)
securing the mudguard to the engine.
Raise the mudguard.
Loosen and remove the screw (12)
securing the muffler to the engine.
Remove the muffler.

Loosen and remove the two stud bolts
(8).
Brake stud bolt (8) driving torque:
10 Nm (1.0 kgm).
Loosen and remove the screws (9)
securing the muffler to the engine.
Screw (9) driving torque:
27 Nm (2.7 kgm).
Remove the muffler.
