CAUTION
Using the vehicle with no mixer oil left
seriously damages the engine.
In the event you run out of mixer oil or
the mixer oil hose is removed, contact
an aprilia Authorized Dealer that will
bleed the system. This operation is
necessary because engine might be
damaged if running with air in the mixer
oil system.
To top up mixer oil proceed as follows:

Remove the front cover upper panel; see
page 64 (REMOVING THE FRONT
COVER)

BRAKE FLUID - recommendations
WARNING
Sudden changes in brake lever play or a
spongy feel of the lever may indicate
problems with the hydraulic system. If in
doubt about the proper operation of the
brake or if you are not able to perform
routine checks, contact an aprilia
Authorized Dealer.
Pay special attention to the brake disk
and friction material, making sure that
they are neither dirty nor oily, especially
a f t e r m a i n t e n a n c e o p e r a t i o n s o r
inspections.
Make sure the brake hose is not twisted
or worn.
