Stopping the engine (03_10)

Select an appropriate parking
spot.
Pull the clutch and engage neu-
tral.
Stop the engine by holding
down button (1) for one second.
As soon as button (1) is pressed, the en-
gine increases revs before it comes to a
complete stop. This behaviour is to be

considered normal and is used so that the
stepper motor can follow the alignment
procedure for the next start-up.
RANDOM ENGINE STOP
In case of random engine stop (clutch
suddenly released, fall, etc.) the injection
system cannot follow the correct stepper
alignment. Upon the next start-up, the en-
gine will increase revs for about one sec-
ond. This behaviour is to be considered
normal and is used so that the stepper
motor can follow the alignment proce-
dure.

De parkeerzone kiezen.
Trek aan de koppeling en plaats
de motor in zijn vrij.
Leg de motor stil door voor on-
geveer een seconde op de knop
(1) te drukken.
Wanneer op de knop (1) wordt gedrukt,
verhoogt het toerental voordat de motor
volledig stilgelegd wordt. Dit is absoluut
normaal, zodat de stepper motor de pro-
cedure van de uitlijning voor de volgende
start kan uitvoeren.
TOEVALLIGE STILLEGGING VAN DE
MOTOR
Als de motor toevallig stilgelegd wordt
(bijv. bij het bruusk lossen van de koppe-
ling, als u valt, enz.), kan het systeem de
correcte uitlijning van de stepper niet uit-
voeren. Bij de volgende start van de mo-
tor zal het toerental enkele seconden
verhogen. Dit is absoluut normaal, zodat
de stepper motor de procedure van de
uitlijning voor de volgende start kan uit-
voeren.
