CAUTION
Ensure that the vehicle is supported
safely.
◆ Rock the front fork back and forth in the
direction of travel.
CAUTION
While rocking the fork, watch for
looseness in the stand. Repeat several
times.
◆
If there is too much play, have the
vehicle serviced at an aprilia Official
Dealer.

carefully.
Check for play in the engine pivot shaft
bushes at regular intervals.
Check as follows:
◆
Place the vehicle on the centre stand.
◆
Rock the wheel from side to side.
◆
If you feel any play, have the vehicle
serviced at an aprilia Official Dealer.

Place the vehicle on the centre stand.
◆ Raise the saddle.
◆
Release and remove the screws (1).
CAUTION
Proceed with the utmost care.
Do not damage the lower fixing tabs
and their seats.
Handle plastic and paint-finished
c o m p o n e n t s w i t h c a r e t o a v o i d
scratching or damage.
CAUTION
Ensure that the tabs locate correctly
into their seats on refitting.
