5.3.1 MMC Sensor
CAUTION
We strongly recommend recalibrating the meter after maintenance.
For correct maintenance of the sensor, we recommend a tightening torque of 400±10 Ncm
(35.4±0.88 lbf·in).
CAUTION
Sensor disassembly:
To avoid breakage we recommend not using tools and not forcing the parts.
•
If it is not possible to unscrew the main ring nut (ref. 007 exploded view in paragraph 6.4
•
MMC Sensor) try it under vacuum.
If it is not possible to unscrew the lower body (ref. 018 exploded view in paragraph 6.4
•
MMC Sensor) run it under hot water for one minute and try again (without vacuum)
Service kits must be replaced at the intervals shown in the table below (see diagram in paragraph 6.4 - MMC
Sensor).
