Milking
In stand-by mode, briefly press the Nano Display button or the remote button to access the milking mode of
a single panel or press the
panels. Moving into milking mode, the panels go into detachment mode.
4.3.1 Detached
When entering the milking mode from the stand-by, the panel result to be in detached status, ready to start a
new milking. The detached status is indicated by the red led permanently lit.
When the milk flow stays under the milk flow level (or with HFS there is no continuous flow) for longer than
final time, the panel starts the detachment operations. Milking cannot be reactivated while removing the
cluster you need to wait for it to be completely detached before attaching it again.
When the detachment operations start, the LEDs begin to flash (green for AUTOMATIC milking and yellow
for MANUAL milking). Then the panel starts the take-off delay countdown before removing the claw from the
animal. This delay is required to allow a certain amount of air to enter the claw in order to lower the vacuum
level under the animal's nipples and ensure gentler removal.
During detachment, the status of the liners can be configured in 3 different ways:
-
OPEN: the liners stay open as long as possible during removal. This mode ensures the cluster is
removed very quickly and gently.
-
CLOSED: the liners stay in the rest position and detachment is slower than with the liners open.
This mode can be useful if claws with a higher air intake are used to stop them from falling
during removal.
-
PULSATION: the liners continue opening/closing for the entire time they are being detached.
This configuration is useful for liners that are particularly adherent, so the pulsation movement
helps to detach them from the nipple
At the end of the detachment operations, when the cluster has been completely removed, the display shows:
-
The amount of milked milk
-
The milking time
-
Any alarms that were triggered during milking
No flow
Fall-off
