4.3.6 Reattachment
When the detaching operations are finished, for reattaching, hold down the button until the LED flashes
yellow; then release the button to start milking again.
CAUTION
If you continue to hold down the button, the panel will go into standby
NOTE
An animal is re-attached automatically at the start of a milking session if fast milking has
been set and a new animal has not been identified.
4.3.7 Feed in parlour
Each iMilkNano is able to manage an optional feed dispensing device in the milking shed.
Feed can be dispensed in the milking room in 2 different ways:
- ON: after milking has started and after the animal has been identified, the panel automatically
starts delivering feed portions.
AUTOMATIC: feed delivery is managed by the herd management software

NOTE
The iMilkNano panel temporarily saves the number of released portions. When the milker
performs a reattach, the number of released portions starts from where arrived.
4.3.8 Cascade functioning
To facilitate the pre-dripping operations, it is possible to release the cluster after the take-off automatically.
Furthermore, when a new milking starts, the two next cluster are automatically rise up.
4.3.9 Stripping arm
The stripping arm is a function that activate an external arm to pull the cluster; this output is activated at the
end of milking when the milk flow is under a threshold. If, after the activation, the flow returns above a second
higher value, starts the count of a delay ; when this delay elapsed, the stripping arm output is deactivated.
4.3.10 Diverted line
If there is a second line for milk separation, it is possible to control an external valve that manage the
selection of the milk line from iMilkNano.
In systems with dairy management, when the animals are to be milked with lock (except for dry), the panel
automatically activates the selected contact to send the milk to the second milk line (so the button needs
pressing only once or the autostart contact needs activating).
