Please check the checklist attached to make sure all parts are in the package.
* Quantity and shape of clamps may vary by different vehicles. Please refer to the checklist.
Place cover assembly on the front truck rail, loosen the screw in bulkhead assembly, slide the side rail into the channel, then re-tighten the screw to secure the bulkhead assembly. Follow the same procedure for the other side.
Align the inside edge of the side rail to the inner edge of the truck bed rail. Then, leaving approximately 6"-8" of space on each end, evenly space the clamps provided along the side rail. Make sure the side rails are placed so that the distance from the tailgate is equal on both sides.
Do not tighten clamps until all clamps and side rails are in proper position. (Refer to Step 5)
For Nissan and Toyota with factory utility track rail system, clamp installation instruction is attached separately.
NOTE: For Over-the-Bedrail bed liner, small 2"x 4" holes will need to be cut on the liner in order to fasten the clamp
When rolling down the cover, make sure the ends of the crossbar are resting on the side rails and the direction of the crossbar is arched upward. (Fig 1a, Fig 2a, Fig 3a).
Incorrect position of the crossbar; this will cause water to pool in the middle (Fig 1b, Fig 2b, Fig 3b).
Please ensure the gap between the locking clip and the side rail at end of the tailgate is less than 1/16" for proper security of the cover (Fig 4a). Make sure to adjust the position of the side rails if necessary.
The cover will not lock securely if the gap is greater than 1/16"(Fig 4b).
Latching
Unlatching
Pull cover horizontally over the side rails and press down the edge to secure the Velcro fastener. This step should be done after the cover is latched down.
NOTE: Cover must be latched down prior to closing the tailgate.
Open the Cover
Roll the cover towards the cab and secure by hooking the safety strap to the front loop on both sides.
Tension Control System
Depending on the weather condition it may be necessary to adjust the tension control system. To adjust, loosen the screw on the tension plate, then the tension plate can be slided back and forth.
