Channel numbers that do not exist are
skipped, and the next channel in that channel
category is selected.
❒ If you select a channel of another category
by channel recall, etc., during steps 3 and
4, the category selected in step 3 still
remains in memory. If you touch
, the channel number moves up or
down in the category selected in step 3
regardless of the category of the present
channel.

Switching the display

Touch "FUNCTION 2" in the FUNCTION
menu.

Touch "SEND".
Touching "SEND" changes the information
as follows:
Channel number — Channel name — Chan-
nel category — Artist name/feature — Song/
program title — Composer
❒ When you switch the display, the text is
automatically scrolled.

Switching the scroll setting

Touch "FUNCTION 2" in the FUNCTION
menu.

Touch and hold "SEND" to select the
scroll setting.
Touching "SEND" selects scroll setting in the
following order:
Continuous scroll setting — One-time scroll
setting
❒ When the scroll setting is changed, you
will hear a beep.

Selecting teams for Game Alert

This navigation system can alert you when games
involving your favorite sports teams are about to
start. To use this function you need in advance to
store the teams you like to follow.

Touch "FUNCTION 3" in the FUNCTION
menu.

Touch "SEND".
The league select mode is selected.

Touch "SEND" repeatedly to select the
league that your favorite team is catego-
rized under.
❒ If you want to clear all the teams that you
have selected, touch and hold "SEND"
with "Clear All" selected.

Touch and hold "SEND".
The league displayed in step 3 is selected, and
the team select mode is selected.

Touch "SEND" repeatedly to select a
team you want to follow.

Touch and hold "SEND".
The team displayed in step 5 is stored in
memory. Game Alert for that team will turn
on.
❒ To turn the game alert off of the selected
team, touch and hold "SEND" again.

Repeat step 5 and step 6 for selecting
other teams.
Up to 12 teams can be selected.
❒ When you have already made 12 team
selections, FULL is displayed and addi-
tional team selection is not possible.
In this case, first turn off some selected
teams, and then try again.

Switching Game Alert on or off

Once you made team selections, you can turn the
Game Alert function on or off for all the selected
teams at a time.

Touch and hold "SEND" to turn the Game
Alert on.
Touching and holding "SEND" switches
between "Game Alert ON" and "Game Alert
OFF".
