Symptom
No image is displayed in the
sequential display.
No image is displayed in the
displayed alarm notification

The dialog box saying "This
action cannot be complet-
ed..." is displayed.
Displaying of images
becomes slow or stops.

A black screen is displayed
when the [GO TO LAST]
button is clicked or playback
is started while displaying
live images.
Cause/solution
• This may occur when images to be sequentially dis-
played are in MPEG-4 format.
a Set the refresh interval of the camera to 1 second.
Refer to the operating instructions of the camera for
how to set the refresh interval of the camera.
• This may occur when the image compression method of
the camera set on the recorder is changed after the con-
nection test.
a Perform the connection test again.
• This may occur when the Panasonic alarm protocol func-
tion
is activated and the "LIVE VIDEO" setting of
ND300
the respective channel is set to "OFF".
a Configure the settings to activate the live image trans-
mission of the respective channel. Refer to the operat-
ing instructions of the recorder in use for how to config-
ure the settings.
• This dialog box will be displayed when CPU utilization of
the PC is high.
a This does not affect the operation. Close the dialog box
by clicking the
button at the top right of the window,
and continue the operation.
• This may occur when the PC in use does not meet the
system requirements.
a Check if the PC in use meets the system requirements.
• This may occur when the set value for the "Performance
(Drawing efficiency)" setting is not proper.
a Set the "Performance (Drawing efficiency)" setting
properly on the option window.
• When the [GO TO LAST] button or [PLAY] button is after
selecting two or more areas while displaying live images,
a black screen may be displayed on unspecified areas.
a Click the [PLAY] button again. The black screen will
disappear.
