Setting the Sleep Timer

The machine returns to the sleep mode automatically when it
is not operated for a certain time.
Keys to be used for this operation

When entering the sleep mode
To enter the sleep mode manually

Press [ ] (Menu), and then close the menu
screen.
[ ] (Energy Saver) turns on green.
Press [ ] (Energy Saver).
• When the machine is in operation
• When the Processing/Data indicator lights or blinks
• When a message appears on the display and the Error indicator
blinks
• When the machine is operating such as adjusting and cleaning
• When a paper jam occurs in the machine
• When the handset of the external telephone is off the hook
• When pressing [ ] (Energy Saver).
• When printing starts after receiving a fax
• When the external telephone is off the hook
• When a print job is sent from a computer, and the print is started
