Printing the Internal Font List

You can print a list of the machine's internal (or resident) fonts to see how each font looks before you choose
it.
a
For MFC-9440CN and MFC-9840CDW, press Menu, 4, 2, 1.
For DCP-9040CN and DCP-9045CDN, press Menu, 3, 2, 1.
b
Press Black Start or Color Start. The machine prints the list.
c
Press Stop/Exit.

Printing the Print Configuration List

You can print a list of current printer settings.
a
For MFC-9440CN and MFC-9840CDW, press Menu, 4, 2, 2.
For DCP-9040CN and DCP-9045CDN, press Menu, 3, 2, 2.
b
Press Black Start or Color Start. The machine prints the settings.
c
Press Stop/Exit.

Test Print

If you are having problems with print quality, you can do a test print.
a
For MFC-9440CN and MFC-9840CDW, press Menu, 4, 2, 3.
For DCP-9040CN and DCP-9045CDN, press Menu, 3, 2, 3.

Press Black Start or Color Start.

Press Stop/Exit.
