Information Service

Information Service is also known as Cell Broadcast. It is public information sent to your device by
your service provider. The phone can receive these messages only when this feature is enabled and
it is in the standby mode.
The channels that send these messages are numbered. Different channels send different kinds of
messages.
The phone will notify you when it receives an Information Services Message providing you have
enabled an alert when setting up your Sounds and Alerts. The
display will flash and a dialogue box will also appear.
The dialogue box will disappear after tapping Dismiss.
Click the flashing icon to display a list of unread messages. Select the message to read it.
After reading the message tap
The received Information Service will be deleted after the phone is turned off.
