E-mail Access

Before sending and receiving e-mail, you should already have set up an Internet connection.

For e-mail setup, please refer to Internet Setup in the Systems Setup section.
You can access your mailbox in two different ways, Online or Offline.
After you have successfully connected to the Internet, you can access your mailbox Online.
You can send and receive messages and manage all of your Email documentation.
You can also access your mailbox without having connected to the Internet. This is called Offline
In this mode, you can only manage and read existing documents and e-mails stored in your device.
At the main menu, Tap
your phone will automatic detect whether it is connected to the
Internet. If connection is not present, you will be prompted to choose from two connection
options.

Tap Now, your phone will immediately try to connect to the Internet and access your e- mail,
thus enabling you to work Online.

Tap Later, this enables you work Offline, to manage and check the Email stored in your
phone's memory.
! The following steps assume that you have already successfully completed System Setup, and in
particular, the Internet Setup which includes Connection Setup and Email Setup. Refer to the
System Setup section.

Accessing your Mailbox

The phone will start connecting to the Internet, and if successful will start to log on to your
mailbox. In Email Setup, you will have been given the option to set a default mailbox; it is this
mailbox that the phone is trying to access.
Your phone will display the contents of your default mailbox. It will be similar to that shown in the
example below.
The list of folders will depend on your email service provider and whether you have created any

user-defined folders.
