Browser Setup

Before activating your browser and surfing the Internet, you should first complete the Proxy Server
setup. Proxy servers manage your IP address and Data Call Information, thus allowing you to surf
the Internet.
Your device can support up to 5 Proxy Servers. The Proxy servers are arranged from 1 to 5, and
they could be setup separately.
Browser Setup Terminology
The following list defines the parameters that need to be set up to enable your Browser
Connection.
Profile Name:
This is a unique name you define for each Proxy Server.
Proxy Server Primary IP address:
The IP address of the gateway through which you will access the Internet. The IP address
consists of a set of four numbers, for example – 123.234.234.123.
Proxy Server Primary Port:
This is the port associated with the gateway.
Proxy Server Secondary IP Address:
Another IP address of a gateway through which you will access the Internet If the primary IP
address cannot be connected, the secondary IP address will be used.
Proxy Server Secondary Port:
Connection to the Internet via another port number. Used in conjunction with the Secondary IP
address.

Setting the Parameters

Tap on Internet Setup at the System Setup Display.
