Sending via SMS

Tap at the Note Pad screen and select Send SMS.
Enter or select the receiver and send the Note as an SMS message. For details of sending SMS
messages, please refer to the Sending SMS Messages section.

Sending via Fax

Press at the Note Pad screen and select Send Fax. Enter or select the receiver's fax number
and send the Note as a fax. For details of sending a fax, refer to the Sending a fax section.
! Functionality of Fax requires network support.
! The availability of Fax feature varies from different regions.

Beam via Infrared

This feature enables you to exchange notes between two A008 handsets.
1 Tap at the Note Pad screen and select Beam Note. The following display will appear.
2 At the receiving A008, tap
3 Align the two A008 infrared ports, adjust the angle and the distance between the devices and
the transmission will start instantly.
4 If there is any interruption or error occurring during transmission, an error message will be
displayed.
