After viewing the current network details, you can:

Tap Back to return to the Network Setup display.

Tap on New Network and the display will show "Searching For Network...".
If a network is found, the display will show "Registering ...".
If no network is found, the display will show "No Network Found".
Search Setup
These settings determine how often your phone searches and tries to register with a network, how
these attempts are made and how you can change the frequency band that your phone operates
in.
At the Network Setup display,
Tap Search Setup to enter the Search Setup screen.
At this screen you may change the following:

The operating band
•
The search type
•
The search speed
Band
Use this option to change the band of operation for your phone. The country where you purchased
your phone determines which of the following options are available.
•
GSM 900
•
GSM 1800
•
GSM 900/1800

Tap on the pull down selection box at the Band: prompt.

Select the option you require
Remember to change to an appropriate band when you travel abroad.
