SIM Request

Personal Identification Number (PIN) is the secret code of the SIM Card. You can preset a PIN to
prevent unauthorised users from using your SIM Card. You can select this function as ON or OFF. If
you select the function as ON, you have to key in your PIN every time you turn on the phone,
failure to do so will mean that you will be unable to use the phone.
When the Security setup menu shows that SIM Request is ON (or SIM Request is OFF),

Tap SIM Request.

Enter your PIN.

Tap Enter.
When the PIN is correct, you can change the PIN Requirements to OFF (or SIM Request is ON) and
return to the Security setup menu.

Tap Cancel to return to the previous menu without changing the settings.

Call Barring

Call Barring is a network feature that can be used to selectively bar outgoing and incoming calls.
At the Security Features menu, tap Call Barring to display the Call Barring screen.
Tap Done to return to the Security setup menu if you do not want to change the settings.
