Create New User
To create a new user, simply click the Create New button. The Create New User page
opens. It is very intuitive and easy to use.
Simply, type in a User Name (one word) and then the Full Name. Select the group you
want to the user to be a part of.
There are two default local access groups to the StorTrends UI pages. Restricted Users
and Administrators. Any users that belong to either group will automatically be granted
rights associated with that group.
Local access basically means access to the StorTrends storage appliance management
areas.
Group
Description
Restricted Users
Read only local access.
Administrators
Full permissions to local access.
If you do not have a specific group or do not want to add this user to a group, simply skip
that step. Type in a password for the user and then confirm it by typing it in again in the
Confirm Password field.
Click Create and it will become listed in the Users List.
