Button Description
Join Joining allows you to join a split replication pair. Meaning that if you split a replication
pair, this allows you to reestablish the connection between the local and remote
StorTrends storage appliances.
Split Splitting allows you to temporarily disconnect a replication pair. Splitting basically means
that you are breaking the connection between the remote and local StorTrends storage
appliances. This is useful when performing maintenance on the network or StorTrends
storage appliances.
Delete Deleting a replication pair is pretty straight forward. This allows you to delete a replication
pair. After it is deleted, the Volumes are considered separate Volumes. The Volumes will
not be deleted.
Update By clicking Update, you can update the Resync Priority and Remote Host fields in the
event that you need to make a change.
Failover Failover allows you to manually switch the roles of the Primary and Remote Volumes.
This is useful in the event of a failed primary StorTrends storage appliance. You can only
perform Failover from the remote StorTrends storage appliance.
Failback Failback allows you to manually switch the roles of the Primary and Remote Volumes to
their original state after a failover. You can only perform Failback on the original Primary
StorTrends storage appliance (or replacement StorTrends storage appliance, in the event of
catastrophic failure).
