Use the Active Directory Administrative Template
Use the following steps to create and distribute the print policy using the Microsoft Group Policy
Editor:
1.
Run the Microsoft Group Policy Editor gpedit.msc.
2.
From the left panel, expand the Administrative Template and click Managed Printer Lists.
The following screen is displayed:

Select one (1) for the Custom MPL Count field.
4.
Enter whatever name you choose in the Name field.
5.
Enter the URL of the starting Web page in the Path field.
NOTE:
(Image map, Printer Graphics View, or Tabular View), use the path prefix hpmpl:. The HP UPD
converts hpmpl: to http:before accessing the Web server for the page. For example: hpmpl://
192.168.1.99/click_maps/US.html
If the file is the default MPL view from MPA, the prefix is http:.
If the file is XML, exported from HP Webjetadmin for example), the prefix is http:.
6.
Select Standard UPD MPL for the Type field.
7.
Click Apply and then click OK to exit.
