Replace the procedure in step 2 with the following:
a. Set:
VERTICAL MODE CH 1
CH 1 VOLTS/DIV .2V
A SEC/DIV tus
A/B SELECT A
A SLOPE JS
A TRIGGER MODE AUTO LEVEL
A TRIGGER SOURCE VERT
A TRIGGER CPLG Dc
TRIGGER LEVEL 12 o'clock
b. Connect the sine wave generator (SG503) to the CH 1 Input
connector via a 50. BNC coaxial cable and a 50 0 BNC termi-
nation.
c. Setthe sine wave generator Frequency to 1 MHz and the Ampli-
tude Multiplier to X1.
d. Adjust the sine wave generator for 5 divisions of signal.
