B. Hard-wired installation (SEA 240/48I-U-H/HW/HY)
WARNING: Be aware of electric shock. Cut off the power of the electrical panel or open the
breakerfor hard-wired installation. Never resume the power before the installation is finished.
Failure to do so can lead to electric shock and death.
NOTE: Please read Installation Instruction above before work and follow the steps below. Any
consequence led by failure to do so should be borne by the user.
1. Install a waterproof box and a bipolar breaker. The box should be 47-1/4~51-3/16 inches
(1200~1300mm) from the ground in normal, and 39-3/8~43-5/16 inches (1000~1100mm) for
the disabled.
2. Refer to Steps 2-7 in A. plug-in installation at Page 10-11.
3. Connect the input cable of the charger with the breaker
and the grounding point.
4. Installation finished. Resume power and close the breaker to see
whether the LED light of the charger is turned on. If not, cut off
the power first and open the breaker, then check the circuit and
connections.
