Positioning Documents

1. Raise the scanner lid.
2. As shown in the graph, place the document to be scanned facing down on the glass
surface of the scanner.
3. Lower the scanner lid.
To scan a single-sheet of document:
Place the document to be scanned face down on
the scan bed, with the top edge firmly against
the scanner ruler on the right.
Customize the Function Button
The Spector-AF 10 scanner is equipped with six programmable function buttons that can
be customized to automate a number of predefined operations, such as scanning to a file,
sending an image to your printer, scanning and sending via an Email, scanning for OCR,
etc. Customizing is done through the Scanner Button Settings interface in the ScanWizard
DI, refer to the Spector-AF10 User's Manual for more details.
To scan a book or thick documents:
Place the book on the scan bed with the page to be
scanned face down. Align the book's spine or inner
margin along the scanner's border as shown in the
picture. For details on how to position the book for
scanning, refer to the Spector-AF10 User's Manual.
