5.
Take a capture of the incoming looped back signal using the
procedures described below for Capturing a MIPI D-Phy CSI-2/DSI-
2 stream.
6 Connecting a D-Phy Source Device with the
Solder-Down Probes
This chapter describes how to connect a MIPI D-Phy source device to
the Envision X14 for analysis using the solder-down probes. The source
device under test could either be a camera module for CSI-2 or an
Application Processor (SoC) for DSI-2.
6.1
Connecting a MIPI D-Phy Source Device Under
Test using the Envision X14 Solder-Down Probes
This procedure describes how to connect the Envision X14 solder-down
probes to the MIPI D-Phy source device. This procedure assumes that
the device under test is on a MIPI D-Phy development board. The D-
Phy differential pairs will have to be identified on the board.
To connect your source DUT to the Envision X14:
1.
Connect the SMP cables provided with the Envision X14 and the
Probe Assembly to the rear of the Envision X14 Probe Assembly
using the illustration below.
