5.3. Radio Callpoint.

5.3.1. Ensure that all Callpoints are sited in accordance with the survey and design
details. All Callpoints must be surface mounted.
5.3.2. Remove the front cover fixing screw, retaining this for future use. Remove
front cover. (See figure 3).

5.3.3. Remove the Glass Substitute (retaining this for future use), to expose the 2
internal assembly fixing screws remove the screws as shown in figure 2.
5.3.4. Separate the back box from Transmitter / Battery section.
5.3.5. Mount the back box 1.4m from the floor, using suitable fixings and fasteners. A
minimum of 2 mounting holes must be used. Countersunk head screws must be used
so as to avoid the possibility of causing damage to the internal components.
5.3.6. Locate the Transmitter/Battery section in the back box, ensuring that the tamper
switch operates correctly and makes contact with the rear of the back box/wall
(established by the switch "clicking").
5.3.7. Replace the Glass Substitute and front cover, securing in place using the
original fixing screw. The Glass Substitute should be retained in the Callpoint, until
the system is ready for "handover", refer to Commissioning Manual section 8.11.
