COMSPHERE 6800 Series Network Management System

Configuration Change Notification

Configuration change notification (ccn) informs NMS of changes to the configuration of a
COMSPHERE device. If configuration change notification reporting is enabled in a device, the
device indicates the change from the front panel or the NMS. NMS provides two commands for
configuration change notification, as follows:
Configuration Change Notification (ccn)
Configuration Change Notification Enable/Disable (ccned)

Support Command Reference Manual for additional information on these commands.

Execute this command to display the configuration events that have occurred on a
3400/4400 Series modem, a 3600 Series DSU or a 3800 Series device. This command can
also be used to clear the memory area in the modem where the configuration events are
stored.
Execute this command to enable/disable the reporting of configuration changes.
